Join us on select Friday summer evenings in the serene setting of the grand Entrance Hall, where some of Ireland’s finest young artists will perform. Enjoy piano solos, piano with cello, with violin, with voice, and much, much more.

Soprano Mary Conroy starting performing in musical theatre and pantomime at the age of seven. As an adult, she studied voice with Dr. Veronica Dunne and harp with Anne Marie O’Farrell in Kylemore College, Ballyfermot. She has recently released a CD. Her performances include singing at the 10th anniversary 9/11 commemoration event in 2011, attended by an tUachtaran, Michael D. Higgins. For a number of years, she has performed one of her own compositions at the 9/11 commemoration ceremony in Donadea Forest Park. Mary has travelled widely, including to Sri Lanka and to Poland, with a trad group, performing Irish music and songs. She is looking forward to her recital at Castletown, where she will be accompanied by Mary Peppard on piano and Seamus Fitzgibbons on flute. It will be “An evening of Music with an Irish Flavour”.
