A forest bathing walk is a walk that enables you to slow down and (re)connect with nature. You will use all your senses to fully appreciate what is around you. The walk covers a short distance (about 2kms) and includes a few optional nature-based activities and refreshments. A basic level of fitness and comfortable shoes are recommended.
Forest bathing is a health and well-being practice that originated in Japan in the 1980s and has gained popularity in Ireland in recent years.
