He has recorded with the legendary flautist William Bennett and collaborated on works for six- and ten-string guitar from composers such as Param Vir\, Stephen Goss\, Robert Keeley\, Chris Malloy\, Harrison Birtwistle and Roxanna Panufnik. He gave the Julian Bream Trust’s inaugural concert at London’s Wigmore Hall\, at the personal invitation of Bream. As an educator\, Jonathan is passionate about integrating different types of skill\, knowledge and understanding. He has a PhD from the University of Surrey and a bachelor of music from King’s College London\, and he is an internationally certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. He is the editor of the Guitar Foundation of America’s peer-reviewed journal of guitar studies\, Soundboard Scholar. \nMarco Ramelli is a lecturer at TU Dublin Conservatoire who approaches music with curiosity and the spirit of research. As a guitarist\, he has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician in repertoire ranging from contemporary music to historical performance on period instruments. He investigates the relationship between instrument and interpretation\, particularly by developing projects aimed at enhancing tactile sensitivity. His research interests span performance practice\, music cognition and organology\, with a recent focus on trauma and disability and their impact on creativity. In 2022\, he contributed ‘The Influence of the Spanish Civil War on Roberto Gerhard’s Guitar Music’ to Oxford University Press’s recent volume on the composer. His latest research examines the contributions of blind musicians to the evolution of the guitar. A strong believer in the role of community in musical creativity\, he has been involved in the creation of Festival Corde d’Autunno and Residenze Erranti\, artistic initiatives aimed at fostering a young research-oriented guitar community. Marco holds a doctorate in performing arts from the University of St Andrews and a master’s in performance (APEL) with distinction at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He completed a postgraduate course in organology at the University of Edinburgh and he has collaborated with many luthiers. Additionally\, he holds a degree in computer science with a focus on mathematical methods for computing. \nEnrica Savigni is a guitarist and researcher with a wide range of experiences and interests. A specialist in nineteenth-century performance practice\, she performs on historical instruments with a particular focus on the repertoire for guitar and fortepiano. In 2021\, she completed her Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Early Music Department of the Koninklijk Conservatorium\, Brussels. She performs regularly with fortepianist Laura Savigni as Duo Savigni\, exploring the guitar–fortepiano repertoire through historical works\, transcriptions and contemporary compositions. Their recordings include Für Beethoven: Music for Guitar and Fortepiano Inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven (MP\, 2020)\, Unruhe: New Transcriptions for Guitar and Fortepiano (TouchTheSound Project\, 2024) and J. N. Hummel: Music for Piano and Guitar (NovAntiqua Records\, 2025). Together with Marco Ramelli and Giacomo Susani\, she is a co-founder of Residenze Erranti\, an innovative programme of artistic residencies for young guitarists that supports their creative projects and fosters a strong artistic community. Enrica is currently pursuing a doctorate in music at TU Dublin Conservatoire.
