Winter Opening

We have extended our opening this season and offer guided tours of Castletown House from Wednesdays to Sundays until 16 December. For tour times and to book your tickets, please follow this link.
Closer to Christmas, we will deck the halls and welcome Santa to Castletown, so your little ones can save the postage to the North Pole and drop in their letters to him in person. Keep your eye on our Calendar or follow us on Facebook where we will publish the details of these special Christmas tours of the house in the coming weeks.
Christmas Market
Sunday, 9 December
Don’t miss our FREE Christmas Country Market and Craft Fair with live crib from Maperath Farm. Open from 10 am to 5 pm, this is a fantastic place to pick up beautifully crafted gifts for your loved ones and to spend time with your family and friends.
Bogdan Rusin and Lucan One Voice Choir will spread the Christmas cheer with live music performances starting at 12.30 pm in the Stable Courtyard.
Music
6 December: The Snowman
Listen to a narration of the much-loved Snowman, accompanied by its ever popular music on piano. Then, sing along to songs from Disney’s Frozen. Click here for details on the time, venue and tickets.
13 December: An Enchanted Christmas
Join singer Edel Murphy (Riverdance & Celtic Woman) for a very special evening of music and become enchanted, once again, with the stories and songs that you know and love. Princesses and princes of all ages welcome and fancy dress is encouraged! Tickets can be booked here.
14 December: Croí Nua Choir Christmas Concert
Croi Nua Choir will present a magical feast of popular and secular music, with solos, duets and ensembles from the world of operetta, opera and the musicals, as well as many seasonal favourites.
